Take the Time to Send the Best
It’s getting very close to “Greeting and Best Wishes” time. If sending greeting cards to your clients is on your to-do list, here are some tips that might help.
- Your holiday greeting is a marketing campaign, treat it that way. What you send should reflect your company’s brand so choose the card image and message with care. If you have the time and budget, have a custom card created.
- Timing is everything so if you’re mailing cards, beat the rush. Wait too long and your message will be received along with all those other procrastinators and won’t get much attention.
- Stand out by sending something a bit different. Funny might work for you, or very beautiful. Last year we sent 3-D cards and saw them sitting out on counters and tables in client’s offices.
- Be sure your list is updated. Don’t waste your time and money if you aren’t sure to whom you should address the card.
- Email greeting cards can be very fun and if done correctly, could have a bit of viral life to them. If your list is lengthy this is an affordable alternative.
However you do it, take some time and wish clients and customers Happy Holidays and Best Wishes. It’s just a nice thing to do. And when you do it, do it right!
